The Talent Challenge

Engaging and retaining your staff during tough times (and afterwards as well)
In the midst of a global recession, companies should be concerned about motivating their staff and getting more out of them. After waves of retrenchments and restructuring, and with personal difficulties besetting them, your staff may have trouble focusing on the tremendous challenges you’re currently facing. You have to find a way to get more from less. Your targets haven’t changed, but your resources are diminished. In difficult economic times, it is therefore essential not just to keep your people, but also get them to buy-in to your strategy and bring passion to its implementation. Those people who are critical to your survival and success, must buy-in to your strategy, deliver results under pressure and remain motivated and passionate about what they do.
This session highlights six issues that every company or organisation should face if they’re going to build a culture that gets the most out of their talent. This is the Talent Challenge, and there hasn’t been a better time than now to start engaging your best and brightest staff.

“Excellent, interesting, and insightful presentation covering a part of team building and leadership theory that we have not heard before, yet is fundamental to developing our management skills. Graeme kept the group’s attention for the entire morning, and in fact left them wanting more. He is in my mind one of the two best new speakers I have heard in the last couple of years. This guy is a must.”
