The Future is Now

Hands on globe

Take advantage of the coming green revolution
Four steps every company can take now to reduce costs, increase sales and connect to a new generation of ethical consumers

The Future is NowEnvironmental sustainability, energy efficiency and diminishing resources present clear risks and significant opportunities for every company. But it requires companies to treat these issues as strategic imperatives, and not just “nice to have” PR opportunities. This is not just because of the moral or legal imperatives, but also because it makes business sense.

This is not another “gloom and doom” session. It will help your team put business sustainability where it belongs: at the heart of your company’s strategy. This presentation or workshop helps to catalyse your entire organisation to implement “green”, socially responsible practices and systems. In addition to the moral and legal imperatives, this session highlights the business case, including reduced costs, increased profits, revenue opportunities and the growing demands of ethical consumers. This is not just a session for Greenpeace-type activists or do-gooders. This is something that will benefit every business everywhere.

Formats

This session can be delivered as a keynote presentation or strategic input, lasting between 75 and 90 minutes. We use full multimedia, laced with humour and insights about different generations. The keynote is adapted for each audience, and can be made industry-specific in its application and focus.

The session can be delivered as a workshop, either half day or full day. These workshops need to be tailored to fit the outcomes required by our clients. The issue of sustainability is both complex and controversial. We are not sustainability consultants – our session is best used as an awareness raising strategic input. If detailed sustainability interventions are required, we highly recommend you engage with one of our partners, Sustainable Design Solutions Ltd.

We have created a very exciting web-based sustainability training programme that can be delivered to each of your staff members directly at the desks in bite size chunks. It consists of twelve modules, and is very competitively priced. You can view the first two modules for free. There are three versions of the course available:

Take Home Value

This presentation or workshop looks at:

  • WHAT must be done – we face many sustainability issues, but a clever place to start is energy efficiency. You can save money immediately, pre-empt upcoming legislation, and gain a wonderful reputation.
  • WHY we must do it – eight business reasons for responding to sustainability issues – not a drowning polar bear in sight (guaranteed!). There are some really important strategic issues that every business would do well to confront. We face both threats AND opportunities in the emerging green era.
  • HOW we can do it – A four step model to making the most of the green revolution.
  • WHO should do it – in workshop format, we suggest steps for energy managers and individuals who want to reduce energy usage in their teams or families.
  • WHEN it should be done – the session ends with an inspirational video clip that will get your team motivated for action.
