Professor Nick Barker is director of the award-winning Asia Pacific Leadership Program at the East-West Center in Hawaii, which was
established by the U.S. Congress in 1960. Nick works as a global leadership consultant. He combines three areas of expertise: leadership education, cultural anthropology, and business. After working in brand management with Procter & Gamble in Europe, Professor Barker trained as a cultural anthropologist. He has 18 years experience teaching at leading universities in the United Kingdom, Japan and the United States. In the past year, Dr. Barker has spoken at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, been a keynote speaker at the Global Leadership Conference in Beijing, consulted for Goldman Sachs across East Asia, and been a Visiting Professor of Leadership in the International MBA Program at the University of Tsukuba in Tokyo. Nick heads up our fledgling operations in Asia.
Lisa Fetsis is a senior research analyst who tracks global trends and analyses disruptive innovation, especially the impact of emerging technologies. She is an energy specialist who leads TomorrowToday’s forecasting team in the Asia Pacific region, with an emphasis on China, and writes customized reports for clients. Lisa speaks Mandarin, and has over 5 years of experience in China

After a very successful corporate career, where he held executive positions in the FMCG and Financial Services industries, Pete built on his strong academic background to develop a unique ability to enable to people and organizations to think strategically and build strategic capability. Over the past 15 years Pete has consulted to more than 100 organizations across 4 continents. His particular strengths are in understanding developing economies, developing strategies that help organizations build resilience in times of rapid change and uncertainty, assessing global trends and their implications for the future, and strategic leadership.
