Paul Adlam

Paul AdlamPaul has over 20 years experience as a specialist within the Construction Industry. As the owner and MD of one of the most respected businesses in his field he was voted in 2004 to be the youngest ever President of his Industry Association. He also has particular interest in the amount of information that people are bombarded with in today’s world and has headed up an industry body as Chairman of an “Information Overload” campaign to try and make people more conscious of how they do business not only at B2B level, but personally. Paul is very knowledgeable about the effects our hectic working lives can have on our health and wellbeing and is studying ways of bringing more Wellness into future working.

Paul really comes to life though when he meets people. His natural empathy and interest in people comes through in his presentations. He has great humour and can connect with any age group or type of person – a real “people” person. His passion is history and the effect that major events have had on people’s lives both in the past and today, but also how they might impact tomorrow. Paul is a great believer that if you want some indication of the future, then look to the past. It was this initial link that drew him to the TomorrowToday team. He carries his historical interest into his leisure time by taking friends and colleagues on “Battlefield” Tours of Northern Europe.

Paul is very happily married with two young children in the green and pleasant lands of south Surrey. He is an active member of the community, particularly within the local tennis and rugby club, and is a qualified Rugby Union Coach and Referee.
